LA GENEVE NORTH EVENTS PRESENTS "SHOE SPECTACULAR"

- A party, exhibition, shoe and accessories swap and networking event for all of those shoe fanatics out there. The Shoe Spectacular event brought to you by La Geneve North Events took place on Friday 5th June at the Charing Cross Hotel.

The night was a celebration of ones love of shoes!! The event consisted of a shoe Swap zone ideal for the fashion savvy woman who wants to reduce costs and improve her closet at the same time during these tough economic times.

Hush Puppies were the official shoe sponsors for the event and are currently running a nationwide competition (www.shoeperstar.co.uk) in search of the next hot footwear designer!.

All guests were greeted upon arrival with an exclusive goody bag consisting of jewellery and vouchers amongst other items.

Guests socialised, discovered new brands, swapped shoes, received make-overs, experienced live music and a mini fashion show all without breaking the bank, especially during these tough economic times.

The Shoe Spectacular fashion show was one of the event highlights. Models strutted out in the latest shoe collection from Hush Puppies alongside designer pieces by emerging designers Georgie W Couture and Alexander Kaeglar.

On site was an exhibition area featuring exquisite shoe-based art work by Arnaud Gois and Ann Teahan.

ImmaQulate Beautys(www.immaqulate.co.uk)beauticians were also onsite to give guests a manicure, foot treatment and pedicure to reenergise.

Sharon Todd exhibited her gorgeous scents from her FM Perfume Range.

Unique one-off jewellery pieces by British designer Anita Watson-Jackson (www.contemporarycraft.co.uk) were also on display for those crucial summer purchases.

The Quick Energy drinks team offered guests a sampler of their fantastic range of drinks!

Our Charity auction was another highlight of the evening and was presented by the lovely Alex Kramer. The auction raised over 200 pounds for the Step into My Shoes campaign ( www.myshoes.org.uk).
