Veronique B Couture (DRC)
Veronique has been designing and making clothes since she was 14 back in Congo (DRC) and in total has been designing for about 22 yrs. When she moved to England from Congo she took a break then networked and built a clientele over here and really got back into designing again.
Primarily a self taught designer, Veronique took a short course in 1997 at H.A.S.T.A in London to refresh and further develop her skills. Designing and making clothes is her gift as she naturally taught herself the logistics and initially only made clothes for friends and family. Due to popular demand Veronique eventually built a loyal customer base and Veronique B Couture was born.
She adds a contemporary European twist to her designs which makes them very unique and appealing to both African and Western Cultures. She also draws on influences from her culture and upbringing.

COCO by Mazelino (Brighton)

In August 2006, Mazelino opened its first showroom at 192 Church road, Hove offering her clients the perfect locale for private consultations and fittings.
Maryam's love of vintage glamour also inspired her to further her skills in Corsetry at a fashion college in London. She has put together her own technique to her garments for that perfect fit.
Now for the first time Mazelino will launch her ready to wear collection, show casing spring summer 2010. This collection is named COCO, and celebrates the feminine glamour that never dates.

Marthe Aime (Paris)
MARTHE AIME arose from a desire to rethink the up-market textile accessory by creating new clothing codes. The symbolic accessory of the brand is the "col"("collar") which, trivialized on clothes, parts from it and invents to become the inescapable element of the wardrobes. Complement to all the dresses, it plays with overlapping to flatter the rising looks, accomodes romantic styles, evenings, "business class" or urban... Around the declensions of "col" come to be transplanted the other models such as jewels, cuffs, gaiters.
Marthe Aime defines its universe in a free spirit of creation, which refers to no trends of fashion, but is inspired by the timeless elegance. Its cups borrowed from various periods of time binds the past and the present, in a modern neo-classic spirit.
The Marthe Aime line is currently stocked in Madrid and Barcelona.

Moixa
Created by Native New Yorker Denise Mahmud, Moixa is a luxurious style brand based on the timeless values of quality fabrics, attention to detail and stylish cuts. Inspired by travel, music, art and architecture, Moixa brings together design innovations that express new ideas about appearance, construction and wearablity.
Combining textile and fashion techniques that give each piece individuality, the designs are modern, confident and fresh; with the feminine form always in mind. The Spring/Summer 2010 collection is heavily influenced by the 1950's Y-line style and the Kimono. Ruching, pleating and gathering are combined with draping to create fluid silhouettes representing romantic alternatives to metropolitan dressing with a blend of nostalgic and modern lines. Shapes are full and enveloping, but cinched at the waist by belts or stylish criss-cross effects. Strong silhouettes and sharp lines are found throughout the collection, yet whispers of femininity are implied with fluid fabrics that caress shapes with discretion.
Evolving each season, the collections are beautifully crafted and trend-resistant. Moixa's garments are the very definition of investment dressing. Proving that "Change is the only constant" (Heraclitus. c.535 BC - 475 BC).
